Why was Jesus born in a manger?

Shepherds put newborn lambs, carefully wrapped and kept from blemish to be an acceptable sacrifice. Jesus was placed in manger so the wise men would know instantly Jesus was the one they were to give the gifts to and worship. Jesus was placed in the manger as a sacrifice!

Jesus knew us BEFORE the foundations of the world!

“According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:” (Eph 1:3-4) (KJV)

He ordained YOU before He formed you in the belly of your mother!

“Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” (Jer 1:5) (KJV)

Clearly, God made us willing vessels.

“But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.” (2 Tim 2:20-21) (KJV)

As a minister, self-confidence has nothing do with it. Jesus GAVE me the AUTHORITY to tread on serpents and scorpions.

“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” (Luke 10:19) (KJV) In KJV, it actually says “power” but the real translation is “Authority”. I remember John Paul Jackson teaching on that.

If you realize you don’t nothing and the Holy Ghost does all the work in you because he ordained you and sanctified thee...

And, “FAITH COMETH BY HEARING, HEARING BY THE WORD OF GOD!” (Romans 10:17) (KJV)

Again, we don’t do anything. THE WORD, JESUS CHRIST, does it all!

And, let’s go futher....

God gave each of us the measure of faith. See, we do nothing. He does all the work in us.

“For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.” (Romans 12:3) (KJV)

Let’s go even further....

“And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.” (Matt 17:20) (KJV)

When you realize God has given you THE MEASURE OF FAITH, all you have to do is HAVE THE FAITH AS A GRAIN OF MUSTARD SEED (very small) and, therefore, when you pray, BELIEVE BECAUSE GOD HAS ORDAINED YOU, HE’S STRENGTHENED YOU, HE’S GIVEN YOU THE AUTHORITY, HE’S GIVEN YOU THE FAITH THE BELIEVE.... 

Jesus did it all right there on that Cross at Calvary! Every fight, every war, every battle was fought right there on that Cross at Calvary by Jesus Christ! 

“When Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished.” And bowing His head, He yielded up His spirit.” (John 19:30) (KJV)

It’s done.

Jesus perfected our faith, healed our bodies, bore our sins, bore our guilt, did it all.

Do you know Jesus?

Well, it is easy to know him and experience his undying, unfathomable love and affection.

God cares about YOU!

You are God's prized possession and toilet bug, er, satan HATES YOU! Honestly, has satan ever done anything for you? Really? Nope, not one thing! Jesus, on the other hand, has paved the way for us with complete and utter victory over everything, especially satan and his ilk. When Jesus died on the Cross, he took away the sin of the world. We only have to repent and ask Jesus into our heart to be born again.

God sacrificed Jesus, and Jesus came and died for YOU!

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) (KJV)

There is no greater love than Jesus.

"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." (John 15:13) (KJV)

Accept Him today if you don't know him.

Sinner's Prayer

"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior."

Now, go and tell someone and welcome to His Kingdom.

The Holy Spirit Baptism is a gift. Just pray, "God, I accept the Holy Spirit as a gift and welcome Him into my being. Thank and praise you Jesus for the Holy Spirit." In these dark times, you need the Holy Spirit right after getting saved.

1. Talk to God/Jesus/Holy Ghost as your best friend, Husband, God, everything. Jesus must be #1!

2. Surrender - "Jesus, whatever you want me to do, I'll do it." Complete surrender. (Few do this)

3. Read the Bible daily! (Builds Faith, Trust and your mind, body and spirit)

4. When you pray, ASK FOR WISDOM! When you ask God for wisdom, God doesn’t find fault, God grants wisdom generously as James 1:5. Why was Solomon so rich? He was wise. When God made Solomon king, Solomon asked for wisdom (to run the kingdom) and God saw that as encouraging.

5. Pray "I can do all things through Christ who strengthen me" anytime you need. Phil 4:13. No matter what, that is the secret sauce to do ALL things through Christ. It is the MOST POWERFUL Scripture in the entire Bible for a Believer I'm convinced because it allows God to do everything through you and you know God did it and you did not do anything but yield to the King for His Purpose!

6. Praise God, Jesus, Holy Ghost in the valley, the mountain, desolation.. Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear not evil... Psalms 23:4. "in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." 1 Thess 5:18

7. Pray in the Holy Ghost as often as you can. The Holy Ghost Baptism is a gift. Just thank God for it and speak in tongues, which is a language beyond demons that they don’t know. The more you pray in tongues, the more it will bless you.

8. “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6. Trust and follow Jesus no matter what.

9. Thank God for all the stuff He DIDN’T GIVE YOU! Maybe the things you thought you really, really wanted would have sent you to hell. Jesus saw that, in God’s infinite wisdom, and made sure you didn’t get what you wanted so you wouldn’t be satan’s. I’m not kidding.

A king reigns in authority, but a king first conquers with power.

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you ‘the authority’ to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Transgender Questions and Answers

What is Transgender?

Transgender is when person is a woman in a male body, or a man in a female body. Transsexual is a Transgender that had transitioned to the sex they are inside. Yes, I've heard of people wanting to change these definitions. Why? It makes sense to me just as it has been.

What causes it?

It's really simple. God made men male and women female (Matthew 19:4 and Mark 10:6). He made Adam and Eve and they were perfect and without blemish, both made in God's image (Genesis 1:27).

But, sin changes things.

Usually it is the sin done to people, rather than the sin people commit, that causes transgender I believe. For those claiming to be born that way: the Bible does say the sins of the father will be punished to the third and fourth generation (Exodus 34:7). The second is generational sin. The third way is sins people actually commit, but I don't really understand the how to even attempt to explain the third one. I so believe sexual sin causes it, including using pornography.

In my case, I was molested by a woman when I was 3 ½ years old then emotionally abused most of my childhood by my father. The rape killed the little boy I was and the female took over. I can look back and see her in pictures and in memories just trying to be heard. But, my father was cruel and emotionally abusive so I became more and more female. I remember reading a book by a female, clinical psychologist entitled "How women think" or something close to that. Anyway, she explained women, due to estrogen, look at people and try to anticipate what they need and respond accordingly through their emotions (women are nurturers). I did the same thing, looking at my father and wondering endlessly what he needed so he wouldn't hate and abuse me.

Basically, the rape made a girl and the emotional abuse was my estrogen.

The Good News

Jesus can break generational curses and heal. That is never brought up in the secular field at all. Since I know nothing about reparative therapy, I have no opinion on it. I trust in God and what He can do not men. However, God is merciful and He knows that sometimes the cure is worse than the disease (God didn't heal my Bipolar I for that very reason). For me, since I've been a girl since my rape for 47 years, healing, or restoring, me now would be counterproductive and a complete shock. I like a lot of female things. I just never saw that changing. But, for someone that did live a lot longer as a male or female, before changing, it might be the best thing for them.

How God Helped Me

In my case, God called me Rachel in a dream and it gave me complete peace. I was like, wow, God understands me. I am woman inside, hear me roar. *giggles* Yes, fellow Christians, God loves everyone and Jesus will meet everyone at the point of their need.

I could never afford transition over my life, and not sure I'd pass. Women definitely knew I was different because they assumed I was gay since I was so feminine. I actually have no interest in men, whatsoever. And, since I didn't think of women like men do, and, yes, I heard lots of men say things like, "I'd love to fuck her" or something similar and then imagine themselves doing it to the woman (they told me they did). I never thought of women that way. Yes, I've stared at boobs in my life, but my thoughts on some woman I was attracted to was, "what's she like?" or "what's it like to be her?" The only thing I ever imagined what kissing them, and that was rare. Consequently, women love having me as a confidante (but very few would ever want anything else). Even when I discovered my inner child, she was a girl. 

I would love a female body, but I know it really isn't possible regardless of all the surgeries and things they have, which I could never have afforded anyway. I made total peace, thanks to God, being male physically and a female inside, although with all my rings, earrings, coordinated clothes, pink shirts and so forth definitely cast me as feminine. I just make sure I'm not too obvious.

So, in my humble opinion, before you decide Transgender is your thing, look deep inside and ask questions. Do I think like a woman? Do I give people that vibe? Do you have the heart of woman as the Bible talks about? Am I a nurturer (female) or a hunter/gatherer (male)? Are you interested in how you feel and how others feel? Both are key. Don't just believe some shrink who is paid to say, "you say you're trans, you are trans." What do you feel and what do you believe about you? Yes, I focused on women. But, if you are a female that is a man inside–much rarer than former–are you? Do you think like men do? Are you manly (not a Tom Boy)? Are you a nurturer? Are you a hunter?

Transgender is really rare and not common like they would have you believe. If you are doing it for sexual reasons, stop. That will never make you happy. Transition does not make one happy either. You have to be happy inside as a woman (or a man if your body is female) before anything else. I totally desire the female form for me, but God helped me be a peace and happy with my male body even though I am a woman inside. He can do it for you, too.

Yet, God still wants you to be Holy

Being Transgender is who you are. Even though I feel complete in who I am, I may find someone to be a partner with someday. At 51, I think that hope has all but faded. But, what would God want for me? I'm male physically so definitely a woman. Like it or not, gay and lesbian sex are sins. Being gay or lesbian is not, but the sexual act is sin.

Scripture tell us with all certainty Homosexuality and Lesbianism Sexual Acts are Sins

"For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet." Romans 1:26-27.

People have twisted Scripture to say it is not a sin, but Romans leaves no doubt the sex gays and lesbians have is a sin. And, God gives a warning about engaging in it:

"Do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived! Fornicators, idolaters, adulterers, male prostitutes, sodomites, thieves, the greedy, drunkards, revilers, robbers—none of these will inherit the kingdom of God. And this is what some of you used to be. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God." 1 Cor. 6:9-11

And, of course, Jesus said marriage was between a man and a woman:

"He answered, 'Have you not read that the one who made them at the beginning "made them male and female", and said, "For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh"? So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.'" Matthew 19:4-6.

A man compliments a woman physically, spiritually, sexually and emotionally, and a woman does the same for a man. Jesus said so about marriage above.

Yes, some denominations are okay with it (gay or lesbian sex), but that does not mean it's okay to do. The Word of God is the authority not some denomination.

So, what does that mean for Transgenders?

If your body is male, you should go for a woman. If your body is female, you should go for a man. If you are gay or lesbian, you simply should abstain and ask God to help you. God can do anything. I've seen God do things for me that are totally awesome. I forgot to get gas and my tank was empty and I drove everywhere with it for three days before I saw it was bone dry. No way on earth it should've ran. But, God took care of it for some reason (He was showing me how much he loved me cause I had asked to do so). If God can do that, imagine how much is His unending, eternal love can change/fix/heal us inside?

What about those that have transitioned?

Oooo, good one.

I pondered this. God, if she transitioned and now has a female body...

God revealed to me that He alone makes us male and female (the Adam and Eve thing). Sin can change who we are inside, but the body can't be changed. It can be surgically altered, but it can't be changed. Your DNA says you are one or the other. You can surgically alter the body, but you can't change the DNA. You know what sex you were physically when you were born. Don't let anyone fool you on that simple, scientific fact. DNA tells the truth.

In fact, I would seriously ask God's opinion before you transition. If you really are a female inside, do you really need mones and surgery to prove it to yourself? Luckily, I could not afford it so I never had to ask. God helped me make peace with it (it really didn't take much–Him alone calling me Rachel made me happy).

At any rate, what God made you originally in physical form, that's it. "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." (Psalms 139:13-14).

You see, God made you male or female physically in the womb. Therefore, even if you transitioned to a female body, you would be engaging in homosexuality and that would be a sin. Same thing with a woman that transitioned to a man and engaging in lesbian sex with a woman would be a sin. Both are sexually immoral regardless of some preacher or church who says it isn't. The Bible is the authority not man. We follow Jesus not men.

That alone should make you really seek God before any transitioning (or if you have already transitioned). God can help you, just like he helped me, live in a male body even though I'm a girl inside.

But, know this:

God loves you. Transgender or not.

How to Resist the devil explained in FULL!

First, Renew Your Mind: "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." (Romans 12:2) (KJV)

Now, you can resist the devil and he will flee from YOU! "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." (James 4:7) (KJV)

When you Renew Your Mind daily (Repentance), that is submitting to God (along with Surrendering fully - God, tell me what to do and I will do it). Now, YOU CAN RESIST the devil!

A personal note on Renewing the Mind: Once, I didn't repent for 2 weeks. I was still saved BUT the Holy Ghost couldn't renew my mind (flush the toilet of the filth of Sin so to speak) so I was slowly going crazy. As soon as I repented, MY MIND WENT BACK TO NORMAL!

Jesus Gave Us The Perfect Prayer

Pray this every morning as Jesus Commanded: "After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen." (Matt 6:9-13) (KJV)

And, if YOU need Holy Ghost Juice to Resist the devil...

"I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENETH ME!!!" (Phil 4:13) (KJV)

Pray that Scripture by calling on God to give you strength to do anything!

God Cares About You!

God knew YOU before He formed YOU in YOUR mother’s womb. Jesus knew YOU before YOU even existed. The Holy Ghost knew YOU before YOU ever existed. Your Father knew you, 

“Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” Hebrews 13:5

Jehovah promises to NEVER LEAVE YOU OR FORSAKE YOU!

Would a human father do that?

All humans, when push comes to shove, will leave you.

Only God won’t! Only Jesus won’t! Only the Holy Ghost won’t!

“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Phil. 4:19

Jehovah promises to supply ALL YOUR NEEDS!

Jehovah has never let me go hungry, even when I didn’t serve Him, never let me go homeless, never let me go car-less.

“Fear Not” appears in the Bible in that form or similar 365 times! Jehovah really does think of everything! He put it in His Word (Jesus is the Word) so you won’t fear!

DON’T FEAR TOMORROW BECAUSE YOU KNOW WHO HOLDS TOMORROW!

Jehovah, Your Dad, not only holds tomorrow, HE OWNS TOMORROW! Toilet bug, er, satan doesn’t own anything. YHWH (Jehovah) owns tomorrow.

“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” Hebrews 13:8

Jehovah, Jesus and the Holy Ghost are the same everyday. They don’t change. They don’t get depressed. They always are loving, kind and care about YOU!

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Psalm 34:18.

If you are brokenhearted, Jehovah saves YOU! You just have to tell Him all about your pain, your problems, your issues.

“In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.” Psalm 18:6

“The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.” Psalm 34:15.

“Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.” Psalm 62.8

There is an old hymn that says, “Have a little talk with Jesus. Tell Him about your trouble. He will hear your faintest cry. He will answer by and by...”

God cares about YOU!

You are God's prized possession and toilet bug, er, satan HATES YOU! Honestly, has satan ever done anything for you? Really? Nope, not one thing! Jesus, on the other hand, has paved the way for us with complete and utter victory over everything, especially satan and his ilk. When Jesus died on the Cross, he took away the sin of the world. We only have to repent and ask Jesus into our heart to be born again.

Do you know Jesus?

Well, it is easy to know him and experience his undying, unfathomable love and affection.

He came and died for you.

Yeah, Lukewarm Christians will miss the rapture.

Really.

Lukewarm means: They have no fire. They have no passion. They aren’t burned out. They ain’t cold as in they burned red hot once upon a time and are now cold. They are people that go along to get along. They are people that are tossed to and fro by the wind and the sea. They really never got saved. They just exist. (Many of them will be the YUGE revival in the Tribulation.)

Jesus said all this to the church of the Laodiceans (Lukewarm church)

“And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.” (Rev. 3:14-19) (KJV)

The Laodiceans were a rich group who piped hot water from hot springs to their city, but over the piping to the city the water turned lukewarm. Lukewarm coffee sucks. Hot or cold coffee works for people. But, people spit Lukewarm coffee out of their mouth or say yuck!, or throw it out, or heat it up like I do till it is steaming hot.

Lukewarm is neither cold or hot for Jesus Christ.

They just exist.

Jesus spits them out of His mouth.

(Even idiot, er, moron, er, TOTAL LOSER, er, satan spits lukewarm people out of his mouth.)

They aren’t building treasures in heaven:

“But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:” (Matt 6:12) (KJV)

Jesus one day will reward Crowns to believers.

Will YOU have any to lay at Jesus’s feet?

Yeah.

Those crowns are laid at Jesus’s feet.

You know there are doormen in the New Millennium ruled by Christ?

You’ll have Joy, but that’s it.

Lukewarm people also have no Victory.

They live in defeat.

They live in spiritual squalor.

They are not hungry for the things of God.

They aren’t hungry for the Spirit to lead and guide them into all truth. (John 16:13)

One day they will throw gold and silver in the streets because it will be worthless:

“They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity.” (Ezekiel 7:19) (KJV)

Yeah, riches are a stumbling block and leave them in iniquity (SIN).

“And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.” (Matt 19:24) (KJV)

The rich man came to Jesus but Jesus told him to sell everything and follow Him. His riches meant more to him that Jesus did.

But, the biggest thing they don’t do is....

THEY DON’T DEVELOP A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD, JESUS AND THE HOLY GHOST!

That is what God desires with each and every one of us most.

“And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” (Matt 7:23) (KJV)

Do you know Jesus?

A Demon Attacked Me This Morning over “Jesus is my Husband”

Yeah.

You read that right.

I took a nap after promoting my book and posting some Deliverance Tweets with the above picture and prayer. It was great. People are getting saved and delivered and healed and set free. Free at last, free at last! Free, indeed. Anyway, it was great!

So, I took a nap starting like 0711 this morning. I had been up since two in the morning witnessing and promoting the book “Jesus is my Husband” so I needed some rest after a long week at work.

The demon I believe attacked me over the Book “Jesus is my Husband”

I post Deliverance tweets and Healing tweets often.

I was in the back seat of my car in the dream. The evil man came up to the car and I shut the front door so he couldn’t get it. I knew he was evil, I knew him. Not sure who he was. He was a demon so I know they know me. I offered to prayer for him multiple times and he said things like, “Keep your Jesus.” I even put my hand on his head and offered to pray for him. At that point, he put his hands around my neck and started trying to choke me. Like I said, “trying.” I rebuked him in the name of Jesus and the dream finally ended and I woke up. I felt it. It was way more than just a dream.

I actually laughed about it and said the God, “Guess I hit too close to the mark.”

WOW!

In the past, attacks sometimes startled me. This full-on demonic attack didn’t. Well, a few months ago, God gave me a much stronger Anointing that meant I had Dominion in Jesus Christ over demons and could pray healing and deliverance over people.

I wasn’t sure about the book. Never wrote one about Jesus before and no experience in it. Not sure how it will do. My novels were not successful.

But, God...

I prayed and ask God for wisdom to make money. Don’t ask Jesus for money. No, no, no. Ask God for wisdom to make money. Jesus don’t want His Bride broke! He made me a writer so books was the way. The Holy Ghost set the price, He set the release date, He was with me the entire writing of the book and the editing. I pretty sure idiot, er, moron, er, TOTAL LOSER, er, satan is attacking me over the book. Lately, I’ve want to change the price to lower. Holy Ghost said NO! I want to release it early. Holy Ghost said NO! He says No by suddenly giving me the urge to speak in tongues. If demons hate the book, it must be even more special than I realize.

GOD TO US: DON’T HELP ME! I WILL DO IT! As JD Farag said God told him.

Let the Holy Ghost do all the work. 

He works it. 

The book is full of Scripture and the Bible says eloquently, “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” (Isaiah 55:11) (KJV)

Jesus is my Husband

ISAIAH 54:5:

“For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.” (KJV)

All three of Them are your Husband: God, Jesus and the Holy Ghost! One is three, three are one, Father, Son and Holy Ghost! That is the Divine Trinity. They all the same, but are three. I understand the Trinity. That’s the best I can explain it.

Jesus is our Husband. Corporately and personally. We serve a personal God. Get the book and go on a love affair that will last you ALL eternity!

Does God Like Me?

Does God Like Me?

Ponder that for a moment. 

We always hear: God loves you, God loves everybody. But, I've known people that say, "I love you but don't like you." Ever hear that? 

Well, God loves you AND GOD LIKES YOU.

Need Proof?

I did.

You know how a mom will sit and look at her child for hours with loving eyes while she delights in her child? God does the same with you. Even moreso...

In fact, God even counts the hairs on your head.

"But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows." (Luke 12:7) (KJV)

Yes, it may sound like a little too much love, but God loves you so much he counts the hairs on your head.

God feeds the birds, but he values YOU way more than them.

"Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?" (Matt 6:26) (KJV)

He also promises to supply all your needs.

"But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." (Phillipians 4:19) (KJV)

The BIG, HUGE difference in God and everyone else is:

He likes you even when you fail. To err is human.

Why?

Jesus died and rose from the dead so that we might have communion again with God. But, Jesus knew we would fail because we are human (and He wasn't–He had a human body, but He was still God). Jesus never sinned, but he became all our sin on the Cross at Calvary.

But, why?

Grace.

Grace, which basically is there for us to get saved AND TO FAIL and not suffer the penalties for it. "His grace is sufficient." (2 Corinthians 12:9) If you screw up, and you will make mistakes because you are human, His Grace is Sufficient. God likes you that much he sent Jesus to die in your place so your sins would be forgiven even when you screw up.

Christians aren't perfect, just forgiven.

Jesus was perfect and they beat him senseless then crucified him on the Cross because He was blameless. Even Pontius Pilate knew He was blameless. (John 18:28-38)

When God looks at a Christian, he doesn't see sin or anything bad. When He looks at us, He sees Jesus because we accepted Jesus into our hearts. He also sees the Holy Ghost inside us...and you know who He is? The Holy Spirit really is Jesus's Spirit.

I'm not saying Grace is a license to sin. I'm saying Grace is there because we are human and will make mistakes because we are human. It is impossible for us as humans to live above sin because of our endemic nature. I actually think, but can't prove it, but us just existing day to day is some little sin. Sin is in our nature. It's called the flesh (not your skin or body), but our endemic nature. However, when we get saved, guess what?, we are reborn inside. The flesh is there but subdued. The more we pray, "crucify the flesh" as Paul put it Galatians 5:24, the more subdued it becomes. The flesh is those little thoughts that pop into your head that questions God, exalts above God. The flesh is NOT you but our endemic nature. Prayer is crucifying the flesh and bringing it under submission.

Yeah, God likes you that much. But, His like is both personal and corporate. Jesus is our Husband and we are His Bride. The Church is His Bride. But, Jesus wants to know you intimately as His Bride. God wants to hear about your successes, your failures, your wants, your needs, your prayers for others, what you like, what you dislike, your favorite food, your favorite song, your favorite movie, everything! God's ear never tires of listening to you no matter what you are saying, even when you go on and on and on about nothing. Unlike another human, He's actively listening to you.

God loves listening to you tell Him everything about you. His ear is always open and He's always happy hear what you have to say even if you're mad. His that good a friend. He knows His ways are not our ways. "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord." (Isaiah 55:8) (KJV)

God fashioned you in the womb of your mother. Yes, He did. It's why abortion is murder. "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb." (Psalms 139:13) (NIV) The Holy Spirit is the breath of life and one of His jobs is knitting us together in our mother's womb.

WHY WOULD GOD NOT LIKE YOU SINCE HE DOES ALL THAT TO MAKE YOU?!!!

Yes, God Likes You, Jesus Likes You and the Holy Spirit Likes You.

We know God loves us, but we also should know He likes us.
